They are based on the sunglasses worn by Adam Jensen in the video game Deus Ex: Human Revolution; a pair of armless and bridgeless sunglasses with gold-tinted lenses. When equipped on the Engineer or Pyro, it takes the form of their existing eyewear with gold lenses. When equipped on the Demoman, the left lens is broken.
