Recently, a new bug in Team Fortress 2 disrupted the game’s economy by causing some loot boxes to consistently award “unusual” items, which are among the rarest in the game.
The frequent appearance of these “unusual” items led to a significant drop in their value, threatening a potential market collapse. To address this, Valve has implemented the following measures:
Only the first item received due to the bug can be exchanged.
Subsequent items dropped as a result of the bug are now frozen and cannot be sold or traded.
Players can request refunds for the frozen items.
Refund requests will be accepted within one week.
This approach allows Valve to stabilize the economy without removing the affected items. Additionally, the company reports that the number of players exploiting the bug is very small, with even fewer using it multiple times.
How to use skins
You must have a Steam account and link it to a store account. The skins you purchased will automatically be added to your Team Fortress 2 inventory. As soon as this happens, you can use them in the game, customizing your characters.
Use skins to paint your characters' equipment, give them a unique look and diversify the gameplay. You can change the texture of weapons, accessories, skins, tools and taunts. Only your imagination determines how unique your characters will look, what weapons he will use in battle, and how he will stand out among your teammates and opponents.
